Maple Grove Days
We are always looking for ways to be good neighbors. Maple Grove Days is a city-wide event that invites people from the community to come together for a several days of food and fun. This year we have chosen to support this event by attempting to fill all of the behind-the-scenes positions such as picking up trash or doing set ups and tear downs. In the process, you’ll discover why Jesus encourages us to do acts of service in secret. Contact Ellen or ext 1170.

Metro Book Club
This is an opportunity to challenge our thinking, prejudices, and preconceived ideas about how the world works. We’ll wonder together about justice, race, poverty and our responsibility as Christians in these matters.
The next book we will explore is Everything Must Change, by Brian McLaren. In this book, McLaren identifies the earth's four deep dysfunctions: crises in prosperity, equity, security and spirituality.
