Prison Ministries
We believe that we are called to serve the least and the lost. We seek to be involved in real and authentic ways that holistically minister to people in, and recently released from, prison, as well as their families.
Prison Fellowship
Mission/Vision: Prison Fellowship seeks the transformation of prisoners and their reconciliation to God, family, and community through the power and truth of Jesus Christ.
Ways to Support:
- Become a prisoner's pen pal through Prison Fellowship’s Pen Pal Program.
- Volunteer at the local Prison Fellowship Ministry office.
- Participate in Operation Starting Line.
- Angel Tree seeks to impact the lives of children and youth with an incarcerated parent – some of the most at-risk children in our society- by buying and giving Christmas gifts for children of prisoners on behalf of their parent or supporting a child going to Angel Tree summer Camp by filling a backpack full of supplies, sending a care package, or writing a letter. For more information email Rebecca.
- Innerchange Freedom Initiative (IFI) creates and maintains a prison environment that fosters respect for God's law and the rights of others, and to encourage the spiritual and moral regeneration of prisoners by mentoring an IFI member through the phases of the program or tutoring IFI members working towards their GED certificates. For more information email John Byrne.
See the local office website for more information about upcoming activities.
