2011/12 Registration

We need every student to register for the 2012/13 school year so that we know how many mentors we need. Registration means that you are committed to attending Next Gen regularly and we are committed to finding you a mentor.
If you miss the deadline, we can’t guarantee that you will be matched with
a mentor.

If you are a returning student or incoming 7th grader, register by June 28. New students, register by Sept 28. Please contact Kristy for information about the next step.

Register online.

Parent Link

Parent Link is a team of parents who currently have students participating in the Next Gen mentoring program. Their role is to support and encourage the Next Gen staff, organize parent volunteers and be a resource for parent questions, concerns and feedback. Parent Teams

Parent involvement is critical to sustaining Next Gen programming. We ask parents to serve on one of the following teams:

Parent Patrol Team - Wed, 6:30-8:30pm

As a visible presence during programming, this team will assist in registration, crowd control, watching exits, and keeping a general eye out for the student’s safety and the integrity of the weekly program. Serve once a month.

Take-Down Team - Wed, 8:30-9:30pm

Help take down and store the middle school and high school room decor for programming. This will involve some consistent tasks and some that change, based on the weekly program. Serve once a month.

Wednesday Prep Team - Wed, 1:30-3:30pm

Help with administrative tasks, such as copying, cutting, collating and organizing supplies.  Serve twice a month.

Mentor Childcare Team - Wed, 6:15-8:30

Provide childcare for children of mentors during weekly programming. Serve once a month.

Sign up for Parent Teams.
