Welcome! We absolutely love that you are here! Our website is filled with our most recent sermons, information about who we are, all the happenings and ways to connect. Our church is filled with people from all different backgrounds, walks of life and places in their faith. As a community of people, we believe that life is better when we live in the freedom of grace and truth with Jesus, together.

We also encourage you to join us for a Sunday or two or ten! We'd love to meet you!

sunday mornings - what to expect

It can be really intimidating to walk into a new church. This section will give you an idea of what to expect when you come to visit.

If you have more questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us at

  • tell me about the service

Our Sunday service starts at 10 AM and the doors to the sanctuary open 10 minutes prior. Feel free to ask for help if you need more time to get settled before the service. Each service is about 60-75 minutes in length, includes Bible-based teaching, and real/uplifting music. Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month. You may also want to bring your Bible / pen / notebook to take notes. After the service grab more coffee, meet some new friends and stop by the Welcome Kiosk to learn more about what's happening around here. Basically what you need to know is we take God seriously – ourselves, not so much!

  • what's available for kids?

We have opportunities for birth-high school*. Head downstairs to our lower level kiosk and our Next Generation volunteers would be happy to help you get your kids situated! You can find out more about what we offer on our Next Generation page (*Note: Middle School and High School classes have varying schedules. Find more detailed info about offerings for them on the Next Generation page.)

Sometimes when you’re visiting, it’s nice to keep your kids close by. People of all ages are welcome in our church services or there are two family rooms in the back of the sanctuary you can use. One is for nursing mamas and their little ones, the other is equipped with some toys and comfortable chairs. You will be able to hear the service in both locations, while not having to worry about disturbing those around you.

  • what's available for adults?

Yes! We have a couple options available for adults. Come when you can!

THE GATHERING@9: is a place to hear people from our congregation share their stories of life and faith intersecting. You'll walk away being encouraged to live your real life fully alive in God. This is held weekly in the Window Room and kids are welcome.

COFFEE TALK: is for young adults (those ages 18 to 30-something). Grab a cup of coffee and come to connect, build community, learn and talk about life with other young adults. We meet every Sunday in Room 104 except the first Sunday of the month.

  • Can i receive prayer?

Trained Prayer Team members are available to pray with you after the service at the front of the sanctuary. Look for them next to the stage wearing a purple lanyard. We believe that prayer is a powerful tool and we would be honored to pray with and for you.

  • will there be coffee?

YES! Who doesn't like a good cup of coffee to sip on during the service? We partner with a local roaster (Driven Coffee) to bring you fresh brewed, delicious coffee! Feel free to bring your coffee into the service with you...just make to sure to grab a lid.

We ask for a $1 donation per cup but if you don't have a buck...don't sweat it! We'd love to buy your coffee. All the donations made to our Coffee Cart above our expenses are donated to one of our mission partners.

  • Is there a place i can get my questions answered?

Yes! That's what we call the Welcome Kiosk. Our friendly volunteers would love to meet you, answer any questions you may have and help you figure out what your next step might be. Look for teal 'Welcome' lanyards. If you are a bit shy, fill out a Contact Us card (found in the bulletin) and drop it off at the Welcome Kiosk. We'll send you a welcome email with more info. Lost & found is also located here.

  • What should i wear?

Dress comfortably. Open Door has always been a "come as you are" church. Jeans or ties are equally welcomed.
