Advent marks a season of intentional waiting. We purposefully remember the story of Jesus' birth and life among us, and we wait in hope for His return! As we lean into the Advent season this year, we are paying attention to the unhurried Hope, unhurried Peace, unhurried Love and unhurried Joy that marks the entirety of the story of God. We see it unfold at a pace that allows hope, peace, love and joy to be experienced and lived. From the covenant promise, to the Old Testament prophecies, from 400 years of silence to the breaking in of Jesus through Joseph and Mary…God is not in a hurry. This
This Advent season we are settling into the gift of Sabbath. Sabbath invites us to stop. It literally means to cease. If you're like us and you're looking for creative ways to capture the heart of Sabbath in your everyday life, consider participating with our church family as we collectively make room for a Savior.
AN ADVENT GUIDE
Let’s practice the presence and way of Jesus through scripture and experience, together. Grab some candles, a few friends or family members and enjoy the unhurried story of our Savior, Jesus.
A SABBATH MOMENT
Whether you are new to the rhythm of Sabbath or you have practiced it for years…welcome to A Sabbath Moment! This simply is a practice around the dinner table where we join in the good old-fashioned art of sharing a meal.

Can you do both - share & respond to a need? Let’s slow down to love and be a force for good in the world....and in our church family. Learn more here.

RESPONDING TO NEEDS: November 27-December 18 - Respond to needs online or in the Gathering Place
SANCTUARY PRAYER SPACE
During Advent we will be opening the sanctuary to come, rest, be and pray. We’ll practice sabbath in tangible ways through stations set up around the sanctuary where you can engage and pray using the four words we lean into during Advent: Hope, Faith, Love and Peace. We hope this is a space where we can practice Jesus’ presence with us and experience Him as our “sanctuary” as it’s defined: “a place of refuge or safety.”
Hours: 8am-9pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Begins Monday, November 28
