We desire to inspire the Next Generation to become fully alive in God by inviting and encouraging them to know, love and follow Jesus, by helping them build relationships in our faith community, and by giving them opportunities to live for the sake of others. It is also our desire to come alongside, support and encourage parents in their role as the primary spiritual nurturers of their child’s or student’s faith. We call this area Next Generation.

Next Kids (Birth through 5th-grade)
Each Sunday your child will have the opportunity to hear the Big God story, respond to the Holy Spirit, and participate in a small group with others their age. Visitors check-in at the Kids kiosk on the lower level.
Register for Birth through 5th-grade Sunday programming
Kids programming for infants through 2-years old is available on holiday weekends. Activity bags are available for older kids who sit with their families during the worship service.
Join us for the regular worship service in the Sanctuary with your friends, and make some new friends! Our hope for our students is that you become more fully involved in the life of the bigger church upstairs. This is YOUR CHURCH, too! You have a place here, and you are needed and welcomed here!
Volunteer to serve our Kids at 10am
The younger kids (birth through 5th-grade) would love to have some older kids to hang out and learn from! Consider serving with our kids during the 10am service in a monthly rotation. Contact: Kids@thedoor.org
Students gain a positive class experience, a community of friends, and tools for their growing faith. Sunday morning classes for middle school and high school students take place on second and third Sundays at the 9am hour, prior to our 10am service. Next Youth: What’s Next? Class begins at 8:45am

E3 Class (6th - 8th Grade)
In E3, we experience the biblical narrative through storytelling, creative reflection, and learning how to dialogue. From Creation to Revelation, we have fun while growing in our understanding of the Bible. Join us the 2nd and 3rd Sunday’s of the month in Room 25. Walk-ins welcome!
Next Youth Absolute Basics Class (9th & 10th grade)
Engage with the foundational beliefs of Christianity and learn how to articulate and defend your faith to "the big questions." We believe it will be a life-changing experience for students as you learn how to follow Jesus! Walk-ins welcome.
Next Youth: What’s Next? Class (11th & 12th grade)
Juniors and Seniors in High School have a desire and need to prepare for what’s next, and we want to give them tools to build a solid foundation that will make the transition into college and beyond for a lifelong faith. In this class we will enter into questions like: How can I manage my life after High school? How can my struggles make my faith stick? How can I experience God on a regular basis? Based on the Sticky Faith research project by Dr Kara Powell and Brad Griffin, scripture, community and conversation will benefit your teen in this class as they move forward. Walk-ins welcome. 8:45am
Next Youth (6th through 12th-grade)
On Wednesday nights, our middle school and high school students engage in a variety of fun activities, Biblical teaching, worship time and small group discussions. Students meet in groups with a volunteer team leader and 5-7 other students. Once a month Nov - May, groups go out to various Service Environments in our community to assist people and organizations in need.
School year Wednesdays, 7-8:45pm
Service Environment nights start at 6:15pm

There are many milestones along the path as your children grow and mature. These helpful resources are designed to provide practical answers to many questions you or your child might have in relation to these life events and practices. Contact: Kids@thedoor.org
Hearts and minds are expanded when our students are exposed to more of what God is doing in the world around us. Each summer, we partner with several outstanding ministries in the USA, around the globe, and in our own backyard to offer short-term mission trips for youth who are ready to explore living for the sake of others.
You are not alone! We provide opportunities for parents to connect with other parents and to be encouraged and equipped to raise their children as followers of Christ.
There is so much out there telling you how to raise or not raise your children. We have recommended resources to help you in your parenting experience. We also have online and take-home resources for our Kids Sunday curriculum. Contact: Amanda | ext 1703
