Families

We desire to inspire the Next Generation to become fully alive in God by inviting and encouraging them to know, love and follow Jesus, by helping them build relationships in our faith community, and by giving them opportunities to live for the sake of others. It is also our desire to come alongside, support and encourage parents in their role as the primary spiritual nurturers of their child’s or student’s faith. We call this area Next Generation.

Welcome Next Kids and Next Youth!

Youth Sunday Worship

10am

Join us for the regular worship service in the Sanctuary with your friends, and make some new friends! Our hope for our students is that you become more fully involved in the life of the bigger church upstairs. This is YOUR CHURCH, too! You have a place here, and you are needed and welcomed here!

Middle School and High School students sit in the section to the left of the stage as you come in, or you can sit with your family.

Sundays, 10am

Volunteer to serve our Kids at 10am

The younger kids (birth through 5th-grade) would love to have some older kids to hang out and learn from! Consider serving with our kids during the 10am service in a monthly rotation. Contact: Kids@thedoor.org

Next Youth: What’s Next? Class (11th & 12th grade)

Juniors and Seniors in High School have a desire and need to prepare for what’s next, and we want to give them tools to build a solid foundation that will make the transition into college and beyond for a lifelong faith. In this class we will enter into questions like: How can I manage my life after High school? How can my struggles make my faith stick? How can I experience God on a regular basis? Based on the Sticky Faith research project by Dr Kara Powell and Brad Griffin, scripture, community and conversation will benefit your teen in this class as they move forward.

2nd & 3rd Sundays Oct - May, 9am

Registration takes place each fall.

Wednesdays
