Come as you are. Brokenness is welcome here. No matter what you’ve done or where you’ve been, this is a place of grace. There’s no need to hide. When life gets messy (and it will), we don’t fake it around here. We believe God meets us in our real lives, not the lives we wished we had. We embrace the struggle of becoming fully alive in God because we know the only way out is through. Life in God is a mystery and its questions don’t have tidy black and white answers. Together, we seek Jesus’ third way of grace and truth.
Come. Engage with us in the struggle of becoming fully alive in God.
We celebrate the good news of Christ’s rising from the dead on Easter Sunday. By His death and resurrection, Jesus overcame sin and death and we can confidently hope in the restoration of all things!
Join us as we proclaim He is risen and celebrate Eastertide for the next fifty days until the coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost.
Minnesota FoodShare engages Minnesota churches to donate food, increase awareness on food insecurity and advocate for food programs. Right here in our own community, children and adults are going hungry. Food insecurity is defined as the state of being without reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food.
Throughout the month of March, please bring non-perishable food items to the shelves on the chalkboard wall. Open Door will donate these items to Cross Services and CEAP. Top needs include: flour, cooking oil, sugar, canned fruit, dry rice, and beans. #MarchAgainstHunger

Join us for this moving and experiential service as we enter into the last seven words spoken by Christ on the night of His crucifixion.
Good Friday, Mar 30, 7pm
This season is a time to walk with Jesus towards His death on a cross. We begin the Lenten journey on Ash Wednesday by repenting and remembering our need for God’s saving grace. For the next six weeks, we prepare our hearts with prayer and fasting, repentance, and Scripture meditation. On Good Friday, we stand vigil at the foot of the cross. Our journey ends on Holy Saturday as we watch and wait for Christ’s resurrection from the dead on Easter Sunday.
We invite you to join us as we intersect our stories with the bigger story of Jesus, and to prepare our hearts for Christ’s death and resurrection.
Fri, Mar 30, 7pm
Sun, Apr 1, 9am & 11am
Do you have a special skill or talent that you'd like the church to know about? Are you interested in helping the church with special projects? Maybe you have woodworking or metal skills, or can design a chalkboard wall. Maybe you play piano and would be available for funerals or weddings. Maybe you are a photographer or want to help feed our volunteers a meal on Wednesday nights.
We'll add your specialty to a list and check-in with you as needed. Let us know you'd like to be on the "Call me" list.
Be the Church
Since Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, instead of Sunday morning services, join us at 3pm & 5pm for a Christmas Eve candlelight service. That morning we encourage our church family to “be the church” to those around us. Find time that morning to serve your neighbors and ministry partners. A list of ideas is available below.

In 1980, we began to be led by the teaching of Pastor David Johnson in our small church in Crystal, MN, then met in high school gymnasiums and auditoriums until coming to Maple Grove.
Open Door is joining Food for the Hungry in Guatemala, and they have identified and prepared a village for our church to serve. We will partner in the development phase of this village for 8 years.
