  • For the sixth year in a row, the Next Generation Youth are partnering with Mobile Hope Dayton for “A Work of Love" (AWOL)! Students from our church family leave home, camp at Open Door and are part of an AWOL team that will serve and love our neighbors at the Dayton Mobile Home Park by leading a vacation Bible school, sharing meals, and doing fun activities with kids from the park. In the evenings we head out for fun with teen peers from Dayton!

We need your help to provide materials, supplies, activities and fun for kids from Dayton and our youth team! Donation items include: nail polish, serving food at the community picnic, providing a cold afternoon snack, helping serve lunch, and transporting tables from Open Door for the community picnic, among other things.

Without the generosity of our church family, we couldn't do all the things we get to do with our friends at Dayton! All these things, big or small, matter and will be put to good use!

    DONATE TO AWOL

  • It's not just about a donut...this weekly, sweet (pun intended) rhythm provides space for hospitality, welcome and connection! Donuts will be served outdoors, as weather permits.

Each Sunday we need 4-6 volunteers to help with various tasks, including: setting up, serving donuts and cleaning up afterwards. Super cool apron provided. Serve once, twice or more!

    SIGN-UP to SERVE DONUTS

  • It takes an amazing team of volunteers to provide quality NextKids programming each Sunday Morning! Welcoming families, cuddling babies, playing with preschoolers, leading games, teaching Bible stories, building relationships… we need your unique gifts & strengths to make a big impact on the faith formation of the next generation within our elementary and early childhood classrooms. Learn more about the different roles here.

  • This 7-session, in-depth Bible study explores the question, "How do I actually pray well?" through examining specific prayers found throughout Scripture. We’ll encounter five key types of prayer: confession, concern, lament, praise and intercession. Through personal reflection, group discussion and teaching, participants will seek to understand how elements of these biblical prayers can be applied to our prayer lives today.
