AT THE TABLE

  • Meeting in small groups around a virtual table, we'll reflect on scripture and life experiences. Each week will offer a Sabbath Moment to slow down and notice what God is doing both in and around each of us.

    There are two sessions of this offering. Sign-up for one or both. Separate registration is required for both sessions.

REST FOR THE MIND & BODY

  • Have you ever wanted to rest and slow down, but your mind & body won't let you? Join us on Zoom for a short, guided prayer practice to engage the mind & body in learning rest. By being led through this Immanuel Prayer practice, your brain and body can make new pathways towards peace and rest in your daily life. Start your week with Immanuel, God with us, through this very easy and peaceful experience.

WHY SABBATH?

  • We're taking a couple weeks to look at the biblical background of the practices and foundations of Sabbath. What is it? Why is it important? Is it practical or realistic? In community, we will explore creative ways to capture the heart of Sabbath in our everyday life. Families are welcome.

CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP

  • The Caregivers Support Group is a community of people who are caring for someone with significant limitations. It’s a place to help you feel less alone and overwhelmed as you meet with others in a similar situation. You’ll receive support, a listening heart, continued education, and prayer.

DIVORCECARE

  • DivorceCare is a supportive 13-week group for those dealing with the pain of divorce that offers hope, healing and transformation. Topics include the road to healing, anger, depression, loneliness, new relationships, financial survival, kid care, single sexuality, forgiveness, reconciliation, and moving on. The group includes the DivorceCare workbook and is open to join at any point over the 13 weeks.

FINDING YOUR VOICE

  • Women are all leaders - every single one - and this class will help equip us with more tools to give healthy expression to that leadership.

    Through the curriculum "Finding Your Leadership Voice" by Kadi Cole we will begin to:
    - Recognize areas in our lives where we are already leading (examples may include business, ministry, family, volunteering, mentoring and simply leading ourselves).
    - Learn how to use our leadership voice in confident, healthy, Christ-like ways in those areas.
    - Grow as leaders from our core identity which is found in Christ alone.
    - Identify unhealthy patterns of leading and provide health patterns to learn and grow into.

HEARTS IN ACTION

  • This group of men desires to help our church and local community by serving single mothers, widows, and those with special needs through home projects, such as repair work, electrical, plumbing, etc. They meet for breakfast at the Original Pancake House, Maple Grove and then head out to the work site. Men of all ages welcome - bring your sons! If you know of a widow, single mom, or those with special needs who could use some help, contact Maureen Pranghofer at maureensmusic@comcast.net.

JOY STARTS HERE: EXPERIENCING IMMANUEL

  • Do you long to experience more “God with you” in your everyday life? This book study and Immanuel Prayer practices will create space for us to experience the abundant life Jesus offers us. We will learn practices that cut down mental static, help process stress and increase our awareness of Immanuel, “God with us.”

MEN'S BIBLE STUDY

  • Join with other men as we study God’s Word and be encouraged through community and connection. VIRTUAL CHURCH

  • We deeply value creating a space for all our people to connect on Sunday morning. While many of us are still remote we have created an online space for people to connect weekly via Virtual Church. WHAT'S THE STORY WITH THEOLOGY? (Session 2)

  • The study of theology has been defined as “the study of things divine.” Join in the fun of immersing ourselves in the story and study of God surrounded by friends who want to learn together! What's the Story with Theology is a three-part, 15-week experience that will take a deep dive into the various topics related to our Christian faith while using the Bible as our source of truth. This study will be facilitated by Dr. Ronn Johnson.

     

    The study is broken down into three, 5-week sessions. Participants will get the most of out of the study by signing up for all three sessions. Registration opens for each session as the previous session ends.

     

    Session 1: October 6 – November 10 (no class October 20)

    Session 2: January 25 – February 22 (Registration open now)

    Session 3: March 22 – April 19 (Registration opens February 16)

WIDOWS WELL

  • Historically, a well has been a place where women have gathered in community and could draw not only water, but encouragement from one another. Here, widows come together in a safe and nurturing environment that allows them to continue to grow and learn in this season of life. It’s a place where women can say the name of their late husband and feel that others understand what it feels like to lose someone so close.

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY

  • Engage with scripture and be encouraged through community and connection with other women in this study of Sabbath by Lynne M Baab. This nine-session study will help you learn more about what sabbath is and how to practice it. People of all ages are finding the sabbath to be a gift that brings a renewed awareness of who God is and who we are as His beloved children.


    Come and discover God's gift of rest.
