Jesus told his followers they must wait to receive power to be His witnesses. That power accompanied the coming of the Holy Spirit in a new way. It changed everything for those early disciples. As important as the third person of the trinity is, often little is known about the Holy Spirit, especially compared to the Father and the Son. Holy Spirit: The Forgotten God will cover ways to engage with the Holy Spirit in daily life, learn about gifts of the Spirit and consider ways God communicates. We will use several resources including Francis Chan’s book, Forgotten God. Tom Johnson will facilitate a time of teaching, discussion and small group interaction.
